  4. R Solomon July 11, 2018 at 4:43 pm

Sorry you had to go through that Earl. The only possible positive it is that they might give you a morphine drip.

  5. Norman Phelps July 11, 2018 at 4:46 pm

So sorry. I’ve passed 5 but none that big. Get better – drink more water. Take care.

  6. Aesop July 11, 2018 at 5:06 pm

Done a few of those myself, but not that big.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

  9. SafeSpace July 11, 2018 at 5:22 pm

You won’t believe this, but the random ad on thus blog tonite is for some kind of kidney stone remedy! Maybe you can demand a commission.

I told you to stop eating chalk!

Earl, you’ve got to toughen up. Now I’ve had 4 heart attacks and 3 triple bypass surgeries. I went right back to work within, ah, ah, year. No, No. I haven’t been back to work yet and this is better.
Heal thyself somebody said. Hope you do heal quickly. Get better and start throwing stones.

  12. Hardnox July 11, 2018 at 6:59 pm

Glad you’re on the mend. 1/2 inch is BIG.
I peed a vvery little one out a few years back and thought this is what childbirth must feel like. Lol.

That’s not even close to a record. It’s like Earl isn’t even trying….

Nah. Kidney stones are the worst. Glad you’re past it.

Glad to hear yer okay, Earl. Good to have you back. I get those nasty little horrendously painful fuckers like clockwork, every 4 years. They’re always oxalate stones, too. They’re mainly from too much beer and coffee, but I ain’t giving them up, so fuck it. My biggest, to date, was 4 mm. A half-inch is unreal. Holy shit. You got my sympathies.

  15. Bill Chunko July 11, 2018 at 10:38 pm

Hope you have a quick recovery.

    Yo Earl,
Get the complete list of all the foods to avoid and abide like the Pope prays. Since I have enjoyed (sarc) passing 11 stones and consequently nine huge Bladder Stones, which lodged in my Bladder (Laser Removed) and grow in size like Mushrooms on Steroids, I have become an expert at surviving. Chanca Piedra https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/benefits-of-chanca-piedra/ will help dissolve the offensive rocks along with copious amounts of water and Hydrangea Root for a Diuretic to wash them down and out, via your plumbing and you can go back to a normal pain free life. Keep an eye on your Prostrate for enlargement too, as that’s how the Stones become lodged in your Bladder. Be Well and Happy.

  20. Papabear July 12, 2018 at 7:13 am

Ow, owww, OWWWWWWWWW! Mucho painful, I hear. I know you try to be efficient, but holy crap, Batman… it’s a KIDNEY, not a MINE, fer cryin’ out loud… you want rocks, go to a landscape supply place!

1 tsp of apple cider vinegar with lemon juice and honey will keep the stones away

  27. outdoorjohn2014 July 12, 2018 at 4:55 pm
