Too Damn Hot

Not like Arizona, thank God.  But still it’s an oven here in the studio/garage.  Just like every summer in Texas, yep. We should cool off by Halloween.

Really need some rain though. If anyone knows the dance, we’d be much obliged.

Yea, I was in Texas (San Antonio) for 6 years when I was in the Air Force. The weather is basically the same as Florida, just less humidity.

Like FL but not as much rain, typically. IH-35 is the dividing line. East of 35 gets more rain, West is much drier. SA and Austin both sit on I-35 so get a little bit of both. Houston has that humidity.

I clocked a pile of dirt at 180F this afternoon with my IR thermometer. Swore it couldn’t be more than a hunnered and fourteen!

It’s south Texas. August starts on Tuesday. It’s hot.

I’ll think of you next January here in Chicago, when I have to listen to everybody whine about how brutally cold it is.

I’ll take the few months of hot any day over the damn cold. Cold friggin hurts. Worked in it for years til we came to Texas. Never going back to the northeast.

Utah’s been basically the same all summer. A nice, mild, rainy spring, then…. BOOM!! Hot, dry, 100 degree summer. No in-between, no buildup.
