They Were Running This Trailer Constantly

1977. I was 20.

We were damn well going. Turned out everybody was going (all over the country). On opening night, the line for the 10pm show was wrapped entirely around the theater – in a stand alone building with just the single large screen. It was a long ass line.

CINEMA 1977

Snack Bar but no game room

I think I saw it 5 or 6 times, in the theater. It was playing for a long time – for well over a year, maybe 2? Someone will tell us.

Can’t remember the length for Star Wars, but I remember Deep Throat ran about 13 inches.

I only saw this in the theater once, but a year later, I saw Animal House 8 times. I couldn’t stop laughing.

I “heard” there was a feminist version of this movie being considered with all lesbia… female actrii, muhdonnuh as Fluke Skybunghole, Rosie O’Donnell as Jabbutt the Ha, lena dumbass as Princess Lay’em, Share Bono-Allman as the worm-thing on the ASSteroid, Whoopie Cushion as Dark Vader, magilla obama as Jar Jar Bananas, and ASShley Juggs as a hemophiliac robot Fuh Q2. Production has been halted while the Screen Actors Guild disputes “truth in advertising laws” that seem to demand the movie’s name be changed to “Star Whores”.
