I sure hope not. He’s the most solid conservative candidate we’ve had in years… and I’d hate to think I jinxed him with my endorsement. Like I did with the Dallas Cowboys. Sorry fans.

Reminds me of Seward’s foley.
Earl you’ve done it again.
Thanks
Thanks Pete!
Soooo…..It was you who jinxed the Cowboys, eh? Feel like working your magic on the Crimson Tide for me this fall? There’s 20 bucks in it for you. ;)
That’s my problem, I can’t do it for money. If that worked I’d be in Vegas making large. You’d be throwing your money away, sorry Boss.
Also Curmudgeon would hate me, I can’t have that.
You know, Earl, I’m a big fan of yours. I think your stuff is great. What I can’t understand, though, is why Cruz’s supporters do not seem to understand what a dangerous precedent Ted Cruz is setting by running for president, and refusing to acknowledge that questions about his eligibility are reasonable questions.
Think about this scenario: an American woman moves to Somalia, and becomes a Muslim. She marries a bearded sandal-wearing Muslim scumbag, and she wears the burqa, and does the whole Muslim thing. After living in Somalia for a few years, she and her husband have a son. After a couple more years, the whole disgusting family moves back to America.
45 years later, the Muslim son, Ahmed, who wears sandals and rags, and a beard and a skullcap just like his dad, decides he wants to run for President of The United States. He’ll point to Ted Cruz’s campaign as proof that he’s eligible to do so. Ahmed won’t have an American birth certificate any more than Ted has one, but he’ll have an American-born mother. That’s it.
Think about it. It’s an exactly equivalent situation. What is the difference, except that Cruz’s supporters like him, and they would hate the Muslim.
You just described Obama, except he was born on the least American soil in America: Hawaii. Who cares above which dirt Obama’s filthy communist mother shat him out; he’s no more american than his filthy communist mother or his filthy communist father Frank Marshall Davis. Cruz is American to the core and understands our history and our present crisis (unconstitutional government) better than anyone who’s ran since Coolidge.
Besides, it’s not like the rag heads or the collectivists care about constitutional eligibility when it comes to their candidate anyway. Hillary is in clear violation of a host of federal laws, not the least of which is Title 18. Section 2071.
“(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b)
Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.”
She walked intel off SIPRNet to her unsecure private network – in her bathroom, then offloaded to Platte whatever, then offloaded to her lawyers. All are strictly (and I do mean strictly) forbidden, as you cited above.
She’s a criminal, no doubt about it. Question is, do her Aides take the bullets while she skates?
You raise an interesting possibility, Mac. But 2 points in rebuttal:
A) Ahmed would have to appeal to enough voters to win. If that is possible, we would already be well fooked.
B) I won’t be around in 45 years, so WGAF?
Seriously. I believe enough courts have ruled Ted to be eligible to be enough to settle the matter. Regardless he can defend himself on this matter much better than I.
I do like Ted. I like Ted a lot. I like that Ted stood up for the things we sent him to Washington to do, despite pressure from The Elders to keep quiet. Ted stuck to his guns, on pure principle, I believe.
But that’s how I read him. I understand others read him differently. But I more fully and completely trust Ted Cruz to preside over the government as he’s promised us he will – throughout his time in DC. The other guys, I feel, are more of a crap shoot. Ted’s our best guy, imo. Not our only good guy, by any means – but best for the Presidency. Thanks for the nice compliments too, much appreciated.
Well EoT, Ted made it but looks like we lost little Davey. He took one below the water line in his high heels. Dem’s what dies is the lucky ones.
Jim
We’ll see how he plays up North
This is all kinds of awesomeness :)
Thanks Brother.
