Hat tip to my Twitter pal Pete aka
Popular singer Beyonce is resting comfortably in a local hospital tonight. Doctors are holding her for observation following a collision with the First Lady’s right buttock during her concert performance here this evening. The Emmy-winning pop star had invited Michelle Obama on stage for a tribute and a delighted FLOTUS stayed to dance with the group on the next tune. “Unfortunately, Ms Obama become somewhat exuberant and began to perform The Bump.” recalled Harvey Bink, stage manager for the venue, “She got that big rear end swinging…nothing could stop it. I don’t know how that girl survived, she must be one tough cookie.”
MRI results came back negative and doctors describe her injuries as non-life threatening. “A massively dense object like that carries a lot of energy.” said Dr Pat Mathingy, head injury specialist and trauma surgeon, “Think of a freight train…this is a similar situation. We need to keep an eye on her overnight, just in case there are complications.”
A picture from our Ghetto days. Money was tight back then (in the background you can see our mountain of debt). We mostly had to make our own entertainment.
Mish was much more creative and engaged in that than I was. All too often I failed to generate much enthusiasm for her efforts, as I was usually concentrating on deeper, more profound considerations. Quite logical and understandable as I am an extraordinary human being. And I prefer the company of men.
